Til tross for et klart overtak spillemessig, spesielt i første omgang, gikk dessverre A-laget på nok et serietap borte mot Hidra/Flekkefjord 2.
Hovedtrener Mason Minister oppsummerer på følgende måte:
We went into this game already missing some key players and knew it would be a tough test.
Despite that, we started well. Unfortunately, we go 1–0 down early against the run of play. Unlike some previous games, we managed to turn it around, but once again we lose concentration at key moments.
We felt we were the better team and yet still didn’t manage to capitalise after bringing it back to 3–3. Silly errors, poor communication, and a lack of effort without the ball cost us today.
Henrik Evensen (2010) from our G19 group got the chance to show himself and had a positive debut. Jonathan Johansen (2010) contributed with a goal, an assist, and a strong overall performance.
When we have our experienced players available and combine that with our talented youth, our top level is high. Unfortunately, our bottom level is still far too low.
