Power off the bench.
A much needed positive performance. The players and staff understood coming into this game the importance of taking 3 points. There was positive energy from the moment we met up until the final whistle. We will take that in to our next game against Birkenes where we know we’ll have an exciting opportunity to grow further as a team.
We had a lot of power off the bench in this game and we’ll have even more on Thursday. Having quality players who can make an impact off the bench means a lot. In some ways to always start with your strongest team can hold you back.
We have a lovely mix of youth and young-experienced players in the team. In the last two games JJ (Jonathan Johansen) has proven how capable he is in the middle of the field. In the Hisøy game Kristian shown his top level, not just with the outrageous goal he scored, but how he consistently drops into spaces and moves the team forward.
We will use Tuesday and Wednesday to prepare for Birkenes Thursday.

🖤🤍
